Sa tulong ng makabagong teknolohiya, nagawan ng paraan ng first BayaniSerye na Ilustrado na maihatid ang world-class visuals sa mga manonood. Binigyan ng GMA ang Kapuso viewers ng realistic look para lalo nilang maintindihan ang istorya ng ating Pambansang Bayani na si Dr. Jose Rizal.

Alam nating malayong-malayo na ang itsura ngayon ng Pilipinas kung ikukumpara sa panahon ng mga Kastila. Kaya naman gumamit ang Ilustrado ng green screen technique sa kanilang shoot para maibalik ang 1800s look.
