Ina and Lola Juling

Why did Ina Feleo say that their family history is like a teleserye, too?

Former To Have And To Hold actress Ina Feleo took to social media to share about her family history and remember the life of her step-grandmother Juling Esquivias.

In her Instagram post, she uploaded a photo of her with her husband Giacomo Gervasutti, when they visited her father's grave.

She then went to tell a bit of her family history and expressed her love for her Lola Juling.

Ina wrote, “A visit to Daddy and paying respects to a great woman, my (step) lola Juling Esquivias.”

“Our family history is one for a very long teleserye. But to cut the long story short, lola Juling Esquivias was the wife of Lolo Junior (my real grandfather, the biological father of Daddy). We only met the Esquivias clan on Daddy's last year on earth. But they welcomed us with sooooo much love and unbelievable warmth.” she added.

The versatile actress continued, “Hindi ako sanay. Kasi sa sa teleserye kapag hindi ikaw yung tunay na anak o ikaw ay "anak sa labas" hindi naman usually warm ang pagtanggap sa iyo. Iba yung pamilya ng Esquivias.

“At iba si Mama Juling as everyone fondly calls her. She is the pillar of strength to this super big family I am lucky to be introduced to kahit medyo late in my life. She was a great example of steadfast love, and an open heart.”

Before ending her post, Ina Feleo expressed her gratitude to her lola for everything that she has done for his late daddy.

“Thank you Lola Juling. Thank you for the times when you would help daddy out pag napapahamak siya nung kabataan niya at kayo ni lolo Junior and nagbebail sa kaniya. Your love, like your trademark smile will always live on in the family,” Ina shared.
