She is known to many as the daughter of showbiz power couple Laurice Guillen and late actor Johnny Delgado, but Ina Feleo is moving out of the shadows of her parents by proving that she is one of the top actresses in the entertainment industry.
Aside from her showbiz career, Ina is also pursuing a business close to her heart by creating her own gym wear brand called Ina Activewear.
In her exclusive chat with GMANetwork.com, Ina explained that designing activewear is second nature to her since she is a proud fitness buff.
She said, “Masaya 'tsaka kasi 'di ba mahilig ako sa fitness, so parang natural sa akin.”
Ina added that her business primarily caters to women and it helps whenever she design something that she knows women want for their gym wear.
“Cater to women talaga ako, so far wala pa akong line for men ang daming nga nagre-request. Pero doon muna ako sa women kasi parang for me ako mismo tina-try out ko kung ano 'yung gusto ko, ano 'yung hinahanap ko sa gym wear.”
If you visit the official Instagram account of @ina.activewear, you could see a variety of designs one could choose from.
The budding fashion designer revealed that she always has three looks that are staple in her line: black, high-waist leggings and offbeat.
She explained that high-waist is perfect for women who want to feel confident even though they have love handles, while you cannot go wrong with a classic black OOTD.
“Lagi akong may classic like black, kasi ako personally pag wala ako sa mood or feeling ko mataba ka ganiyan I go for black.”
There are also women who choose a sexier option and show off a little skin.
“Mayrun din akong offbeat, medyo sexy kasi may market din talaga na gusto nila 'yung sexy, gusto nila 'yung may mga cut or gusto nila may prints.”
Ina Feleo stressed that the feedback she received from netizens and her customers are essential in her design process.
What's more, social media gives everyone a platform to start a business no matter how small your investment.
“I think malaking bagay na may social media na ngayon, so kahit maliit ka lang mag-start you can do something.”
