As the coronavirus disease continue to spread all over the world, people are advised to quarantine in their homes and practice physical distancing.
As a way to help people stay connected amid the current global health crisis, Instagram introduced on March 24 a new update called 'Co-Watching.'

According to Instagram's official announcement, the new feature “allows you to view Instagram posts together with your friends over video chat.”
You can start Co-Watching by tapping the video chat icon in the Direct inbox or in an existing Direct thread.
From there, you and five of your friends can view “saved, liked, and suggested photos/videos by tapping the photo icon in the bottom left corner in an ongoing video chat.”
On March 22, Instagram also launched a Stay Home sticker which you can use on your IG stories.
The sticker adds your story to a compilation of stories that lets other people see “how you're staying home and staying safe.”
