instant noodle hacks

Get ready to step outside the box (or package instructions) with these creative and yummy instant noodle hacks!

Instant noodles are a guilty pleasure for a lot of us. Though they're not exactly the healthiest snack, each flavorful bite just fills our bellies and hearts with so much joy.

The next time you find yourself craving for instant noodles, why not make it extra special (and hopefully healthier) by doing these quick and easy hacks?

Cheesy Instant Noodles

Celebrity chef Erwan Heussaff's cheesy instant noodles look absolutely indulgent and we need it in our bellies, ASAP!

While boiling the instant noodles, he makes a kind of mornay sauce (bechamel with cheese) from melted butter, flour, milk, and lots of cheese in a separate pan. He whisks these ingredients thoroughly until he achieves a nice and smooth consistency for his cheese sauce.

Once the noodles are done, Erwan combines them with the seasoning and oil packets then tops it off with his sauce. According to him, adding the sauce made the instant noodles super creamy and cheesy, with a rich texture.

Instant Noodle Pizza

Leave it to Heart Evangelista to think up of something as creative as an instant noodle pizza!

After boiling her noodles, Heart mixes it with one scrambled egg which binds the noodles together once fried. She then pours the noodle and egg mixture in a hot pan and flattens it to form a pizza dough-like shape. For toppings, Heart slathers it with tomato sauce and tops it off with a gratuitous amount of grated cheese and a few slices of olives.

Lumpiang Instant Noodles

YouTube food channel Pina SaWrap came up with this unique lumpiang instant noodles recipe.

Once the noodles are fully cooked and drained, they are combined with carrots, cabbage, baguio beans, seasoning and oil packets, and one sachet of oyster sauce in a large bowl. Then the mixture is wrapped with a spring roll wrapper like a regular lumpia, The rolls are then fried in oil over medium low heat until golden brown.
