Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza has already met controversy even before completing her first day of reign as the newly-crowned Miss Universe. This after the Mexican beauty was rumored to be married, making pageant fans discuss her possible disqualification.
Andrea won the title and crown as Miss Universe 2020 yesterday, May 17, succeeding South Africa's Zozibini Tunzi.
But following her victory in the prestigious competition, Andrea's photo with a guy named Jorge Saenz in their wedding suit surfaced online and caught the attention of netizens.
The two were pictured intimate by the cliff, and the beauty queen captioned it with a date and a ring emoji.
Netizens, meanwhile, were quick to judge, concluding that Andrea is no longer single and not qualified to be Miss Universe.

While Jorge has already deleted a similar post which gave more details about their photo, he made an appeal and clarification via his Instagram Story.
He said, “People, my photo with @andreamezamx is just a shoot for @ahchihuahua. Please stop with your messages and threats, that photo is from 2019 and it is not edited. It was just a joke. Check @achihuahua profile.”
A similar shot of their alleged wedding photo can also be seen in a promotional campaign video on Ah Chihuahua's YouTube channel.
Andrea hails from Chihuahua City, Mexico, and is one of its tourism ambassadors.
