The Prats family went out of town to celebrate Forest's birthday.
Lilla Forest Prats just turned one!
To mark the occasion, the family led by the husband-wife tandem of John Prats and Isabel Oli went to Batangas during the weekend to celebrate Baby Forest's birthday.
Aside from sharing photos taken from the fun day out, Isabel also penned a touching letter recalling the challenging circumstances that surround Forest's arrival.
ith the pandemic and quarantine restrictions in full swing, Isabel had to give birth without John, who at the time was in a lock-in taping for a TV series.
“As your momma, you and your siblings birthdates are forever etched and engraved in my heart. However, yours was really quite unique and up til now, I still marvel how we were able to pull it through,” Isabel pondered.
“It's been a year since, but not a day goes by that I don't thank God for guiding and protecting us that day. The days leading to your birth day were quite nerve-wracking to be honest.
“Giving birth to you during this pandemic was really challenging, my precious, but thank God we made it.”
She continued, “So today, we celebrate that love-filled day. We reminisce God's goodness and faithfulness and look forward to more days of God's manifest presence in our family and in your life.”
John also greeted Forest in a separate post on social media.
“Blessed 1st birthday my bunso. Sobrang saya ng puso ko at kasama ko kayo ngayong kaarawan mo. Maraming salamat sa 'yo, sa ligayang dala mo sa aming lahat,” wrote the actor.
“Lagi lang kami andito ng mama mo para sa inyo. I love you anak!”
Forest's birthday celebration didn't end there as the family also had an intimate party back home.
John thanked all the people who helped deck the family garage with decors including Isabel “na sobrang busy sa pag-ayos ng lahat.”
