Visual artist Isabel Santos recently praised her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz's ex-partner Ellen Adarna's cooking. The timing of Isabel's compliment drew attention because of her rumored split with the actor.
In her Instagram Story, Isabel said it was her first time to try paksiw which Ellen prepared. The latter then reposted it in her own account.

Ellen is John Lloyd's former partner and the mother of his son, Elias, born in June 2018. Despite their past, Ellen has since moved on while creating a good co-parenting relationship with John Lloyd whom she fondly describes as a present father.
In 2023, John Lloyd confirmed his relationship with Isabel, having sparked dating rumors since 2021.
Speculation about a breakup between Isabel and John Lloyd began early this year after netizens noticed that the two no longer follow each other on Instagram. Neither party has confirmed nor denied the rumored split.
Last December, Isabel and John Lloyd joined Ellen in attending Elias's piano recital.
