One step at a time for the new couple.

Though everyone could see that they cared so much for each other, it was only this week that Elmo Magalona and Janine Gutierrez admitted that they are indeed a couple.

How does it feel now?

Janine, in an interview at her birthday celebration, said, “It was nice because siyempre nakakatuwa kapag ramdam mo na proud sa ‘yo ‘yung isang tao.”

For his part, Elmo said, “Siguro it was just about time kasi we’re both really happy. It’s just really inspiring na nagawa ko ‘yun (admit their relationship to the media).”

“Yes, yes, kami na,” Elmo had confessed during the pocket press conference of their new show, More Than Words, last Oct. 9.

Janine is happier now that everybody knows that she and Elmo are in a relationship.

“I just think na it’s so refreshing to not have to hide anything, ‘yung pag-isip ng mga sasabihin mo sa interview,” she said.

Elmo added, “Iyon rin ‘yung iniisip ko. Hindi naman kailangang itago.”

The pair also shared that they are glad to be working with each other in a new project.

Combining work with their personal lives is not a problem for them because they can easily balance the two. Both agreed that they have teamwork, and this is what makes them grow as a couple.
