Korean singer IU

IU is the first Korean female artist to have a solo concert at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium.

Korean actress and singer IU is making another milestone in the music industry.

After teasing an upcoming project titled "The Golden Hour," IU announces an upcoming concert dubbed "The Golden Hour: Under the Orange Sun."

A concert poster featuring IU in a brilliant orange background was uploaded on her personal account.

Her agency, EDAM Entertainment, also confirmed the news: "IU will return to the stage, and it will be an event where she can sincerely talk about her music with her fans.

The poster confirms IU will be having a solo concert this September 17-18 at the Jamsil Sports Complex Olympic Main Stadium in Seoul. IU will be the first Korean female artist to hold a concert in the venue--which has 69,950 capacity.

In the past, only Korean male groups and artists including EXO and BTS have already performed in the popular venue.

This will also mark IU's first solo concert in three years since she last went on tour in 2019 for “Love, Poem,” where she went onstage four cities in Korea and six other Asian cities.
