K-pop group IVE officially returned with another catchy music video “HEYA,” posted last April 29.
The music video gave a new image of the girl group as it demonstrated their broad musical spectrum and versatility in doing different concepts.
The song itself, with its addictive melody and compelling lyrics, captured fans' attention. They particularly praised the chorus and rap sections for highlighting the members' swag side and impressive vocal abilities.
In addition to their striking visuals, which maintained their elegant image, IVE embraced hip-hop styles through their vibrant and stylish wardrobe choices.
Fans have also appreciated the creative cinematography of the video, which featured art graphics and a three-dimensional concept.
The music video quickly gained attraction, accumulating nearly 10 million views and 400,000 likes on YouTube, entering it into the top 10 trending for music on the platform.
"HEYA" serves as the title track for IVE's latest album, IVE Switch, which features other songs including "Accendio," "Blue Heart," "Ice Queen," "WOW," and "RESET."
This marks the group's second EP release, following their debut EP titled I'VE MINE, which they released last October 13.
