
Kapuso celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano received their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, July 5.
On Instagram, the Mars Pa More host shared a short video of her vaccine experience with her husband Drew administered by the local government unit of Pasay City.
The 39-second video also shows Iya's hilarious side and asked the medical representative if she could keep the small vial.
The 35-year-old actress and TV host wrote in the caption, “2nd dose DONE!! Yay! Thank you to the Pasay LGU for the smooth process.”
She also encouraged the public to get vaccinated.
“May balak pa to keep the vial as memorabilia. Let's go, guys! Let's work towards getting back our REAL norm shall we?? #ResBakuna #Sinovac”
Drew Arellano also posted their couple photo, which shows their newly inoculated arms, on his Instagram account.
The 41-year-old TV personality wrote in the caption, “Fully vaxxed. Sending our utmost appreciation to Pasay LGU for the smooth process of our SINOVAC second dose. #resbakuna”
In a GMA news report, Iya Villania and Drew Arellano were among the 50 representatives in the A4 category to get the first dose COVID-19 vaccine last June 7.
Media personalities and married couple falls under the A4 category. It also includes actors and actresses, media and entertainment employees, delivery service riders, self-employed individuals, and laborers who are required to work on-site.
Other local personalities and celebrities who were vaccinated include Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos, Sam YG, Maine Mendoza, Ryan Agoncillo, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali, Kakai Bautista, Sanya Lopez, Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Maris Racal, and Rico Blanco.
