After receiving a vicious comment from a netizen about her latest bikini photo on Instagram, this is the message the former Encantadia star is sending online.

In a Facebook post, the versatile actress wrote that she was surprised at the response of people about her exchange with a netizen who body shamed her. She said, “Wow! I had no idea my post and the exchange I had with one person is being shared on Facebook.”

Iza admitted that the post was rude, but it didn't affect her because she already accepted all of her imperfections.

“Masakit ang mga sinabi niya and if I read this before it would have broken me or hurt me. Thank God for my journey to self love because I know now that my worth is not based on what other people think of my body, rather how I am as a human being - mind, body and spirit."

The soon-to-be wife of Ben Wintle also thanked Athena Valerio for her viral Facebook post, showing support and promoting body positivity online.
