Actress Iza Calzado shines the spotlight for the team of nurses who took care of her when she was hospitalized for COVID-19.
Iza Calzado looks back on her COVID-19 battle with a grateful heart.
The actress posted photos of her with a team of nurses who appeared to be off duty at the time.
Iza expressed her gratitude to the medical staff of Asian Medical Hospital for her recovery.
Iza wrote on Instagram, "Allow me to shine the spotlight on my amazing team of nurses (missing a few though!) from Asian Hospital who gave me the best love and care any patient could ever ask for.
"Together with my brilliant doctors, I really couldn't have asked for a better team to help me fight and beat Covid 19. I am forever grateful."
Iza revealed that she battled with COVID-19 this March 2020, leading to her hospitalization for a week and a half.
She donated her blood plasma for COVID-19 patients on June 12.
