Recently, the names of SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona-Aragon and her family; specifically her child, Sofia Trazona, and her husband, Alvin Aragon, have been making headlines.
Public discussions resurfaced regarding Izzy and Sofia's lack of physical meetings and differing views on gender identity and career paths.
Their family's name drew even more attention after her husband Alvin's statements about the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as his explanation that Izzy's departure from the SexBomb Girls was a religious decision, received various reactions from the netizens.
Following this, Izzy went on Instagram to share a vulnerable update about her family's situation.
She posted a photo of herself with Alvin and their kids, admitting that while things haven't been easy, they are thankful to God for giving them the strength to keep going every day.
“It's not easy for the whole family…. but gumigising everyday by the strength that God gives,” Izzy wrote in the caption.
The former dancer shared that her family remains steadfast by looking toward their faith to navigate their current hardships.
“By grace na hindi naman namin deserve, but patuloy na kumakapit sa mga pangako ng Diyos. At patuloy na nakatingin sa ginawa ni Jesus to save sinners like us,” she expressed.
Acknowledging their flaws, Izzy also admitted that her family's imperfections are what lead them to rely so heavily on faith.
“We are not perfect, actually the name of our gc sa messenger is “the imperfect family” kaya ganon nalang ang pagkapit sa salita Nya. Kasi hindi ko alam kung saan kami pupulutin apart from His word,” Izzy wrote.
The post concluded with a message of gratitude to those who have reached out privately to offer support.
Izzy also expressed her appreciation for the messages of encouragement she has received from her supporters and friends.
“Salamat sa lahat ng pm and encouragement! God bless everyone!” she wrote.
Even before the recent controversies broke out, Izzy recently returned to the spotlight when she made a surprise appearance for her fellow members during the SexBomb Girls' Get Get Aw! rAWnd 4 concert.
