Actress Jackie Forster has a sweet and touching birthday message for her son, Kobe Paras, who turns 24 years old today, September 19.
The basketball player is currently in the Land of the Rising Sun to play for the Niigata Albirex BB in the Japan B. League.
Jackie's Instagram post reads, “You've grown up so much since our first sushi date @_kokoparas and now you can get it straight from the origin. This next chapter is called: finding the simple joys."
“I'm so happy your passion has taken you to an amazing country! Keep doing you, we are always proud of you and have your back. Just a few more days and you are out of quarantine! Whoohooo! Happy Birthday my beautiful boy! Praying for all that is good for you, always. LYSM”
Kobe replied with an equally sweet message for his mom. He commented, “Will never forget that day, ma. That's tatted in my mind and heart forever. Thank you so much, mama! Without your guidance and love, I wouldn't know if i'll still be here. Forever grateful for you and the whole family. I miss our sushi dates so much. Thank you again for everything.”
Kobe is now among basketball players from the Philippines who signed with a Japan B. League team. He joins the likes of Thirdy Ravena, Kiefer Ravena, Juan Gomez de Liaño, Javi Gomez de Liaño, Kemark Cariño, and Bobby Ray Parks.
