Jackie and Michel have been in a relationship since 2007 and the latter worked for a multinational company.
The actress shared on Instagram, “And just like that WE are 40! Belated Happy birthday to my rock. A few wrinkles here plus an extra few pounds there, 5 children between us and a whole lot of stories of trials and triumph to last our lifetime together.
"It's true that nothing can really prepare you for the goodness that the Lord will bless you with. I am always in awe of how things turn out after a complete surrender.”
She also admitted that even though they have been together for more than 11 years, they are still a "work in progress."
“It's never easy, but we've gotten through so much. I wouldn't have been able to live as beautifully as I have the last 11.5years without my husband. We are both a work in progress and that work will never be done because we are always open to growing and learning. The biggest thing I've accepted to fully be and do in the years with my husband is to be honest and true in whatever I do and whomever I encounter.”
Jackie also had this to say on Instagram as she also turns 40 this month. The mom of Kapuso cager Kobe Paras and Andre Paras reminded everyone that family should always come first.
“On my 40th birthday I want to bless all of you with a prayer of contentment and confidence in your life and your relationships, specially in your marriage - that you may always remember what you stand for and who you are amidst all the chaos this world brings. Remember that onlookers and social media should never dictate your intentions or change your heart.
“Choose people over things and family should always come first! God see's your heart ️and He will know the right time to shower you with the blessings that are good for you. And what's meant for you, will always be Yours!!! Amen? Amen! ”
