One of the main factors that made Jaclyn Jose accept the role of Stella in The Millionaire's Wife is the chance to work with fellow actor Sid Lucero. Jaclyn's daughter Andi Eigenmann is Sid's half-sister to dad Mark Gil.

 

This is the other half of the "madhouse" that is my family. Led, of course by the coolest Dad. We will be celebrating for you, although missing the fact that you wont get to light the party up for us like you always used to. I dont know if "happy birthday" is still the right phrase so Ill use congratulations instead! From here on Earth to all the way up in heaven, cheers to you dad!????

"Si Sid is like a son to me in real life, kasi kapatid niya si Andi. But this is the first time na nakatrabaho ko siya, and one main factor 'yun kung bakit ko tinanggap ito. I want to work with him," the 2016 Cannes Film Festival Best Actress shared with GMANetwork.com and entertainment bloggers during a visit to the set of The Millionaire's Wife.

She adds, "Dito ko lang nakita na ganito pala magtrabaho 'to, kapag gumawa ng eksena, method and being. Pareho kami ng style, 'yung sa scene lang lumalabas 'yung [acting]. Pagkatapos nun, 'mamaya lagot ka (laughs).' Masarap 'yung ganun, 'yung [nagbabatuhan] kayo nang hindi naman lumalagpas, accordingly lang."

Jaclyn says that working with someone who has the same passion as you have makes everything easier. 

"'Yun ang fulfilling sa hirap ng trabaho. Kapag pinagtahi-tahi mo at the end of the day, pauwi ka na, doon pa lang sa mind ko, dinudugtong dugtong ko na ang mga sequences na ginawa ko. Napaka-importante kasi sa akin ang consistency."
