James Teng is no longer in the running to be one of two 'StarStruck' ultimate survivors. He ended his journey after failing to please Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes in their weekly challenge and acquire enough votes from the council and viewers. He garnered an average score of 74%.

In his farewell speech, the 17-year-old Bulaceño apologized to people he may have hurt during his journey.

"Unang-una po, gusto ko lang po mag-sorry sa lahat ng director and staff na sumama loob sa ‘kin dahil sa pagiging pasaway ko at gusto ko lang mag-sorry [at] gusto ko lang mag-thank you…," a teary-eyed James said.

His StarStruck experience is one that he will always treasure and attribute much of this talent development to.

"Ngayon, gusto kong imagmalaki na yung talent ko, sobrang nag-improve. Thank you sa StarStruck," he added.

Joining him in the bottom group were love team partner Liezel Lopez, Klea Pineda, and Kevin Sagra. Klea and Kevin fail to get high scores in combined judges' grades and viewers’ votes while Liezel  is automatically at risk for elimination as seven fellow artista hopefuls want her to be out of the competition.
