Welcome back, Jang Ki-yong! The K-drama actor starred in the hit romcom series 'My Roommate is a Gumiho' two years ago.
The handsome gumiho Shin Woo-yeo is officially discharged from the military.
A report from Korean entertainment site Soompi stated that K-drama actor Jang Ki-yong, who starred in the hugely-successful fantasy romcom series My Roommate is a Gumiho, has finished his mandatory service after one year and six months today, February 22.
Ki-yong entered the military back in August 2021.
He released a statement after being discharged saying, “Thank you for waiting for me for a long time,”
“I will work to greet you soon with a great production.”
Meanwhile, his agency YG Entertainment also provided a statement to Soompi and promised their full support to Ki-yong as he makes his much-awaited comeback.
“As a companion and partner of Jang Ki Yong, we promise to provide our full support and gear up to aid his return as an actor.”
