Janine Berdin drops new version of viral song.

The third and most-requested version of Janine Berdin's "What If I Miss You For The Rest Of My Life” has officially been released on June 12 on her official YouTube channel.

In the comments, she is very thrilled to introduce the "Live in the Studio" version to the listeners, especially to those who pushed her into reaching such a milestone.

“Here ya go guys !!! Thank you for listening to this song that really did heal me when I wrote it on the sh****r bahahaha. It still doesn't feel real, I used to always just tell myself na someday people will hear what I have to say. I am so grateful. Thank u kaayo for supporting Original Pilipino Music,” she said in the caption.

Since the song was first released in September 2025 as part of her album LAB SONGS NG MGA TANGA, listeners continue to express their fascination with its emotional and vocal build-up along with her undeniable talent.

On May 18, Janine performed the song live on Wish 107.5 Bus, which became a social media sensation, reaching almost 9 million views. The listeners commend her raw and powerful voice during the performance, making it sound more dramatic and intense.

“This song really hits hard. Para kang sinagasaan ng wish bus,” said commenter @lezner09.

“Her screaming is the best way to represent how I feel when I'm in pain but can't voice it out,” said @yamquicho.

“That's not just singing... She's like emotionally breaking down artistically right there,” said another commenter @justinmacasinag6258.

“Halfway her performance I tried to imagine her singing [on the Grammy] stage receiving her first award. Abot kamay na ng OPM. Soon I know. A filipino pride,” said @Mamshie_Atin.

On May 19, she posted an Instagram Reel of her live performance with the caption, “I wrote this song while sh***ing on the toilet [and] now I got to sing it on the Wish Bus”.

This quickly blew up impressing several local and international artists.

Among those who have left a comment is award-winning American singer-songwriter, Demi Lovato. She wrote “holy sh*t” and a starstruck Janine replied to the singer how she grew up wanting to sing just like her.

Fifth Harmony's former member, Lauren Jauregui, also reacted by commenting "Siiiing", while singer-rapper, Doechii, praised Janine's musicality. American R&B hitmaker, SZA, also liked the viral post.

With the popularity of the live performance and the overwhelming demand of the listeners for an official studio version, Janine has finally granted their request through the collaboration with Ziv, who is behind the works of Ben&Ben, Arthur Nery, and other leading OPM artists.

The live recording was done through Spryta Productions, maintaining the same authenticity of Janine's voice and storytelling as the original live performance yet emphasizing more on the instrumentation to offer listeners a completely new way to experience it.

Its accompanying visualizer features Janine's solo frame for the entire video, capturing the full weight of her emotions and movements with every lyric. Contemporary editor, BJ Tangco, was behind this intimate craft.

Since her winning moment in the second season of "Tawag Ng Tanghalan", Janine Berdin continues to showcase her remarkable voice, and has begun expressing her own artistry by writing her own songs. Not only did she recently celebrate her eighth victory anniversary, but another milestone as the pride of OPM.
