Filipina singer Janine Berdin has once again made her mark in one of the world's most iconic locations: Times Square, New York City.
Back in 2022, Janine was also featured In a Times Square billboard as part of Spotify's EQUAL program, which spotlights women artists from around the globe.
This time, her latest single “Lab Songs Ng Mga Tanga” landed her another Spotify billboard, tied to her debut album. This marks a major milestone that celebrates her growth and artistry. The track, which dives deep into love and heartbreak in a raw and relatable way, continues to resonate with listeners who find beauty in vulnerability.
In an emotional post, Janine shared her disbelief and joy over the surreal moment.
“Naglalakad-lakad lang ako sa New York, tapos biglang lumabas 'yung mukha ko. 'Yung mukha ko at musika at debut album ko nasa Times Square,” she captioned her post in Cebuano.
Janine also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Spotify Philippines and her loved ones, writing, “Thank you @SpotifyPH, thank you forever Mama, Papa, JM, Raprap, Ate Ken.”
