She has graced multiple magazine covers in the last few months, but More Than Words lead star Janine Gutierrez still does not see herself as an 'it' girl.

"I can't say I'm an 'it' girl, and I don't know what 'it' girl means. But it's flattering I guess to be dubbed as something," she humbly tells GMANetwork.com.

When asked how she felt to be part of a magazine's "Promising 23", the young actress had this to say.

"It was an honor to be part of the cover, and it was a lot of fun shooting it because I have worked with that team in other shoots so it was just a fun, light shoot. It was nice to be part of something that wasn't just GMA, it was girls from different aspects, not even everyone is in showbiz."

As More Than Words nears its final week, Janine shares that playing Ikay was very refreshing for her, and that she learned a lot from her quirky character.

"Iba siya sa mga nagawa ko dati. It's something new to me kasi medyo magkumo-comedy, at never pa ako gumagawa ng character na parang si Ikay na may prosthetics tapos sobrang kulit."

She adds, "Natutunan ko na it's important to believe in yourself and to be confident and to not let what other people say about you get to you."

What will she miss most about the show?

"I guess the taping, kasi masaya ang mga kasama ko sa taping, pati sina Direk [Andoy Ranay]. At saka 'yung story, the way it started, it was very funny and new. Mami-miss ko 'yun. I'm excited to see the ending."
