To call Janine Gutierrez showbiz royalty would be an understatement. She hails from the Gutierrez clan and is related to industry greats Pilita Corrales, Eddie Gutierrez, Nora Aunor, and Christopher De Leon.

It's only natural to assume that Janine would join showbiz at an early age; which is why she didn't.

In the second part of Janine's YouTube video featuring her siblings where they answered assumptions about them, the Kapuso actress shared why she had no desire to enter showbiz when she was younger.

"I used to be the type of person na if you tell me to do something, ayoko talaga.

"That's why 'nung bata ako, everybody would ask 'Kailan ka mag-aartista?' Ayoko mag-artista kasi lahat ng tao tinatanong kasi nga parents, family.

"And then tinatanong ako, 'Kailan ka magbu-beauty pageant?' Ayoko nga, stop asking me.

"But now I'm older so I realized that sometimes some suggestions are valid and I shouldn't just say no just to spite people. Sometimes you just wanna be pasaway para ikaw 'yung tama but I learned that some people have really good suggestions and you should be open about it," she said.

Janine eventually had a change of heart and entered showbiz in 2012.
