Janine Tugonon shows off her baby bump
Janine Tugonon wholeheartedly embraces a new chapter in life: becoming a mom!
The Miss Universe 2012 first runner-up confirmed her pregnancy in an Instagram yesterday, June 2.
Janine, who proudly showed her growing baby bump, wrote in the caption, “Exciting times, new goals set and new season in life ahead. Swipe hehehe. baby girl en route. #letsdothis #firsttimemom #thisisgonnabefun”
Janine's fellow beauty queen, Ariella Arida, excitedly who commented, “Yayyy congratulations momma.”
The first-time mom also received heartfelt congratulatory messages from other beauty queens such as Rabiya Mateo, Pia Wurtzbach, and Lara Quigaman.

Through this prestigious pageant, it opened up the door for Janine to pursue a career in modeling in the US.
She told Tito Boy, “I went to the US to do modeling and I stayed there for 10 years. And now I'm back. I enjoyed the US. I enjoyed all my experiences there, it was pretty tough especially starting with papers and everything. It wasn't an easy road even though I had the title of Miss Universe first runner up, it wasn't easy. But, I really loved it”
