
Korea's top indie rock band Jannabi expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome they received from Filipinos during their first-ever live performance in Manila.
On May 4, Jannabi made a special performance at the 2024 Korea Festival in Manila, presented by the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines. The event was held at the Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay City.
The band showcased electrifying performances of their popular songs, including "TOGETHER," "Baby I Need You," "Summer," "Good Good Night," "Tell Me," "For Lovers Who Hesitate," "Jungle," and "Monkey Hotel," which lasted for almost an hour.

Jannabi's vocalist Choi Jung-hoon was astounded by the audience's enthusiastic response and loud cheers throughout their performance. The band promised their Filipino fans that they would return soon to the Philippines.
"I promise you, we will come back here as soon as possible," Choi Jung-hoon said.
Jannabi is one of the hottest indie rock bands in South Korea. They debuted in 2014 with their first single, "Rocket."
The group's name is an old Korean word for "monkey." The band consists of four members who were all born in 1992, which is the Year of the Monkey. The active members are Choi Jung-hoon and Kim Do-hyung.
