Social media is buzzing with a power couple blind item claiming the pair's relationship is falling apart. Netizens are pointing fingers, and the Kapuso Royalty Couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are among those being mentioned.
Amid the ongoing issue, singer-actor Janno Gibbs and his wife, Bing Loyzaga, posted an interview with Marian and Dingdong on their YouTube channel.
In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, Janno finally broke his silence over the blind item linking the Kapuso stars.
The “Fallin'” hitmaker admitted he found the issue hilarious because they taped the interview before the rumors went viral on social media as some netizens even claimed that Marian and Dingdong released the interview amid the issue to prove they are not the couple in the blind item.
“But I don't think it's them. I think alam naman ng tao. Makikita naman sa interview namin, malayong sila 'yung may problema,” he said.
“Doon sa interview namin, makikita niyo 'yung strength talaga ng pagsasama ni Dong at Yan,” Janno added.
He also admitted that he and Bing have faced their own struggles as a married couple, which they openly share on their YouTube channel.
“Doon naman sa nangba-blind item na couple na married na power couple ganon, in our channel, inaamin naman namin ni Bing lahat ng struggles namin, and look where we're at, diba okay ulit kami ngayon,” he shared.
After the issue continued to spread on social media, he urged netizens to be more careful with their assumptions about the power couple.
“Let's not ano, 'wag natin i-nega kung may problema man 'yung couple na 'yun, sana maayos 'yun. 'Yun dapat ang wini-wish natin for them,” he advised.
Previously, Marian addressed the issue on the online entertainment show Marites University. Rose Garcia shared that the Kapuso actress called her and talked about the blind item.
“Sabi niya, 'Ate, jusme. Ano ba 'yang mga blind item na 'yan?' Parang sanay na sila kasi parang every year, lalo na raw 'pag January, palaging may ganyang chika,” Rose shared.
On December 30, Marian and Dingdong celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary with their kids, Zia and Sixto.
