We're all aware that Joaquin Phoenix has taken over the role of Joker in the DC Comics Universe. So, what antihero role is Jared Leto portraying this time?
This 2020, Jared will be playing the role of Dr. Michael Morbius a.k.a. Morbius, the living vampire, a fictional character first published in Marvel Comics.
Dr. Morbius is a biochemist with a rare blood disease. He tries to cure himself with an experiment involving bats, and accidentally turns himself into a vampire with superhuman strength, speed, and bat-like capabilities like night vision and echolocation.
Sony had just released the trailer for Morbius and Jared had obviously buffed up for the role.
The movie Morbius is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on July 31, 2020. But there's no announcement yet about its release date in the Philippines.
