Filipino pageant fans can celebrate another performance from a local queen as Jasmin Bungay, the country's representative to the Miss Globe pageant, finished as second runner-up in the international pageant.
At the coronation night held on October 15 (Albania Time), Jasmin Bungay was the second runner-up to Colombia's Diana Moreno, who won the 2024 Miss Globe crown. Moreno succeeded Miss Globe 2023, Manvin Khera.
During the question and answer program, Jasmin was asked, “As technology changes quickly, how can we make sure we keep real human connections and show empathy in our daily lives?”
Jasmin replied, “I believe that with the advancement of technology and also with the abuse that is [prevalent] now in the technological world, I believe to be empathic is to live in the moment, to make sure that every moment is treasured, not on the screen, but in real life. Because only when we have real connections, only when we connect with each other face to face, physically, then we can feel each other, and we can [experience] the fullness of life. Thank you.”
In a post on the official Binibining Pilipinas Instagram account, the organization praised Jasmin's performance, writing in the caption to the post that Jasmin inspired audiences with her hard work and dedication.
