Pamilya Roces actress Jasmine Curtis Smith vehemently denies on social media that she edits her photos.

A post shared by Jasmine (@jascurtissmith) on

Jasmine made this clarification after a netizen asked her on Instagram if she edits her skin to make it whiter.

“Why are you whitening your skin in your photos.”

She replied, “I'm not? Backtract (sic) to 2 posts ago?

“It's called filters btw. I've never been one to WHITEN my skin to be THAT GIRL. I've always loved the skin I'm in, cause I'm born half white, half Asian sometimes it's tanned or sometimes it's the odd mid tan, mid white.”

The netizen immediately apologized for what she posted and Jasmine accepted it.

She also reminded everyone online to be careful in commenting on social media.

“No worries, I think we just need to be careful with how we phrase our concerns and questions. Filters are there for fun and I would NEVER have myself change for the approval of others. We should love what we're born with.”
