The World Between Us actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith got emotional after watching the surprise video message from her mom, Carmencita Curtis-Smith, who is based in Australia.
Jasmine attended GMA Pinoy TV's FunCon yesterday, June 30, with her co-stars Alden Richards, and Tom Rodriguez.
"I miss my mom so much," teary-eyed Jasmine said.
"We haven't spoken kasi in like two weeks so thank you for that surprise.
"Like it's making everything so worth it and I miss her so much."
In her video message, Carmen described Jasmine as a daughter.
"Jasmine is very malambing, at she helps me a lot in the house na maglinis, mag-garden," she said.
"Very friendly siya and very loving daughter, ganyan, [and] mahilig siya kumain ng pinoy food, beef steak adobo ganun."
Carmen then assured Jasmine that what the latter is doing will be worth it.
"Hi, Jasmine! I wish for you na sana you're always in a good health, and I know na marami ka pang mararating sa iyong career.
"Keep smiling and 'wag kang masyadong mag-isip sa ngayon dahil I know that you're always worried na hindi tayo nagkikita but I always love you.
"Keep going and I hope na you have a new management, you will be happier."
