Laurice Guillen and Jasmine Curtis-Smith

'I felt the real pain from that, and I felt like ako si Cristy nung mismong panahon na 'yun kasi ang bigat,' says Jasmine Curtis-Smith about a scene in 'Asawa Ng Asawa Ko.'

Asawa Ng Asawa Ko lead star Jasmine Curtis-Smith revealed that a scene in her GMA Prime series left her exhausted as her character, Cristy, finally found out that Jordan (Rayver Cruz) got married while she was in captive.

In the 24th episode of Asawa Ng Asawa Ko, Cristy and Shaira (Liezel Lopez) finally crossed paths, and the new wife finally revealed that she and Jordan were already married.

Brokenhearted, Cristy returned to their house as she inconsolably cried in her bedroom.

In an online exclusive video, Jasmine revealed that she and the show's director, Laurice Guillen, had a talk before shooting for that specific scene.

"Bago namin tinake 'yung eksenang 'yun, Direk and I had a small conversation. Number one, kailangan magamit ko 'yung space kasi sayang, e, ito rin 'yung character mo, buhay siya sa kuwartong 'yun," Jasmine said.

"It's also being specific sa pain, being specific sa baka mayroon na ring experience sa buhay kong ganun. So, relating it to myself so that it will naturally come out.

"I felt the real pain from that, and I felt like ako si Cristy nung mismong panahon na 'yun kasi ang bigat. Ang sakit nun, Direk. Parang ubos na ubos na po ako, gusto ko pati 'yung matress itaob, but then baka po 'yung camera n'yo masagi Direk, e."
