Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Royce Cabrera bring raw passion and heartbreak to the stage as the iconic indie film Endo is reborn in a theater adaptation this April.

Two of today's most compelling actors, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Royce Cabrera, are finally sharing the spotlight—this time not on screen, but on stage.

The pair star in the much-anticipated theater adaptation of the 2007 Cinemalaya classic Endo, presented by Ticket2Me in partnership with PETA Plus. Running from April 10 to May 10 at the PETA Theater Center, the production marks the first time the beloved indie film is brought to life as a full stage play.

Nearly two decades after the original film tugged at the hearts of audiences, Endo returns with the same emotional punch—only now, it's happening right before your eyes. The film, which won major honors including the Special Jury Prize, Gawad Urian Award for Best Screenplay, and TANGLAW Award for Best Picture, told a painfully real story of love tested by contractual work, economic hardship, and fragile dreams.

This new stage version is directed by Melvin Lee and adapted for the theater by acclaimed playwright Liza Magtoto, giving the story a more intimate and immersive edge that theater audiences will feel in every scene.

Jasmine takes on the role of Tanya, a hopeful young woman longing for something bigger than the life she knows. Royce plays Leo, a man trapped in a cycle of short-term jobs and emotional uncertainty, trying to hold on to love while struggling to survive. Their already complicated relationship is shaken by Candy, a woman from Leo's past portrayed by Kate Alejandrino, who threatens to reopen old wounds and unresolved feelings.

Adding even more star power to the production are the alternate cast members: Rissey Reyes-Robinson (Tanya), Esteban Mara (Leo), and Iana Bernardez (Candy), who are set to deliver equally gripping performances throughout the run.

With raw romance, heightened tension, and heart-wrenching choices, this stage adaptation promises to make audiences laugh, cry, and reflect on the realities faced by many Filipinos today. Every pause, every argument, and every quiet moment feels closer and more real under the theater lights.

Catch Endo live at the PETA Theater Center from April 10 to May 10. Tickets range from PhP1,600 to PhP2,700 and are available via Ticket2Me.
