It was a bittersweet moment for personal finance expert and travel content creator Jax Reyes as he celebrated a big milestone as a YouTube content creator.
Jax took to Facebook on July 20 to mark his achievement of reaching 100,000 subscribers on the video-sharing platform, a few days after his dad, Joey Reyes, passed away on July 13. He was 73.
Jax paid tribute to his father and wrote, “Dad, I guess you never knew that I started creating content on YouTube first, and this is my 5th year on YT. (The journey was not easy, but of course we have to not give up).”
He continued, “Sharing with you a big milestone we achieved today (with the help of all you guys as well). I'm so happy you're still here to celebrate this with me.”
