If the short-term goal of Jay Arcilla is to be the Ultimate Male Survivor of StarStruck, his long-term goal includes finding success in show business and in his personal life.

This is why he has utmost respect for Dingdong Dantes, a celebrity who seems to have found the proper balance between work and family. From being a star in a teen-oriented show, the Primetime King has now ventured into work with the National Youth Commission and has recently become a father.

“Sobrang successful po niya. May baby na and parang happy family na sila ni Miss Marian [Rivera],” the nineteen-year-old said.

The artista hopeful from Laguna has seen how Dingdong matured from a young and playful actor to a serious and driven individual, and would like to have that for himself someday.

“Gusto ko po maging ganun [ka-successful] din someday, after ng StarStruck [at kapag] makilala ko [na] 'yung right girl for me,” he added.

Jay, however, is in no rush. He understands that great things take time. While on the road to fulfilling his dreams, he makes sure to be grateful for all the opportunities that come his way.

“Ngayon po, mas pinapahalagahan ko na 'yung mga bagay bagay [at] 'yung trabaho dito sa StarStruck… Talagang maipagmamalaki ko na na-build up kami ng StarStruck,” he declared.
