Following in her mom Jaya's footsteps, Sabriya is ready to step into the recording studio with her original materials.
Like mother, like daughter. Sabriya Gotidoc follow in her mom Asia's Queen of Soul Jaya's footsteps as she starts recording her original materials.
On her social media posts, Jaya proudly shared about the start of daughter music career. She posted their picture in the plane with the caption, “Whew we almost didn't make it This marks Sabriya's first day of getting in a recording studio to work on her original materials that she had sang, written and produced.”
Jaya continued her post with a short prayer to have God's hands “do the work in Sab's career. Let your plans be revealed in her life.”
She also mentioned that RnB singer Jay R will be helping Sabriya at the recording studio.
She then thanked Sabriya for letting her go with her daughter, “Thank you Sab for letting me go with you as your Mom and chaperone and maybe backup singer? Love you,” she said, ending her post.
Friends and fans meanwhile, expressed their excitement to hear Sabriya, dubbing her as the “Soul Princess.”
Last year, Jaya expressed how proud she is of her daughter when she posted a video of Sabriya playing drums in a band during a football game at school.
“So proud of you Sab, my little drummer girl…Friday Night Lights, football game here in Central Kitsap HS…” the veteran OPM singer captioned her post.
She added, “Husay mo anak so proud of you..may video sa huli. #gotidoc #sabriya #drummergirl.”
