JC Alcantara was recognized by 9th Inding Indie Awards for his performance in the movie 'P77'.

Versatile TV-movie actor JC Alcantara was honored at the 9th Inding Indie Awards.

The mestizo heartthrob bagged the recognition for Gawad Sa Puso ng Sining-Natatanging Husay sa Pelikulang Pilipino for his performance as Theo in the GMA Pictures horror flick P77 starring Barbie Forteza.

In a Facebook post, JC thanked the whole team behind the movie and dedicated his award to all of them.

Aside from Barbie and JC, the other cast of P77 includes Euwenn Mikaell, JC Alcantara, Ms. Gina Pareño, Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco, Ms. Rosanna Roces, and Carlos Siguion-Reyna. The movie was directed by Derick Cabrido.
