Jennica Garcia to mom Jean Garcia: "I have no idea how you overcame the struggles of being a single mom without me noticing but goodness, Ma. Ultimo si Wonder Woman at Darna sasaludo nang sabay dahil sa mga sakripisyo mo."
Kapuso actress Jean Garcia received a heartwarming greeting from her daughter, Jennica Garcia, on Mother's Day.
"I always knew you were a strong woman but with how my life is now with my two girls, I can't help but wish I've been a better daughter to you. I should have done better. I should've hugged and kissed you more. When I ask you if everything's alright and you tell me everything is great, I should have looked deeper in your eyes to know the truth so I could comfort you," she wrote.
Now that Jennica is a mom to her two beautiful daughters, she can't help but realize how hard it is to be raised by a single parent.
"I am turning 32 this year and looking back, you NEVER directly told me a single problem of yours. Now that I have children of my own, I understood why you are the way you are. You didn't want me to worry. You wanted me to live a worry-free, happy life that I grew up not knowing how difficult it must have been for you to raise me and my brother without a spouse.
"You are my Hero, Mama. I have no idea how you did it, how you overcame the struggles of being a single mom without me noticing but goodness Ma. Ultimo si Wonder Woman at Darna sasaludo ng sabay dahil sa mga sakripisyo mo. I thank the Lord because you're my Mom. It gives me the confidence that since you are standing strong to this day, I can too. Courage runs in our blood. Happy Mother's Day Madam, I love you."
Along with the heartfelt Mother's Day greeting are throwback photos of Jennica and her mom Jean.
Jennica sparked breakup rumors with her husband Alwyn Uytingco when she asked netizens how to change her name on her social media accounts and started sharing cryptic posts about fixing a broken marriage.
On May 8, Jennica told the public that she will be moving into a new home together with her daughters Athena and Severina.
