Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo celebrated a heartwarming family milestone as they gathered their blended family to mark the 18th birthday of Jennylyn's son, Alex Jazz.
Kapuso Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado shared a joyful and meaningful moment on her social media alongside her son Alex Jazz, her husband, Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo, and their other children, Dylan Jayde and Calix Andreas.
The whole family gathered to celebrate the birthday of Jennylyn's son with actor Patrick Garcia, Alex Jazz, whom they affectionately call “Jazzy.”
In her post, Jennylyn shared several photos of their family happily celebrating Jazz's 18th birthday at a restaurant, where they all enjoyed grilled meats cooked right at their table.
The Kapuso actress accompanied the post with a touching caption filled with love for her birthday celebrant son.
Jennylyn expressed her gratitude for the gift of her son's life, calling him her “forever baby boy.”
“Happy 18th Birthday, kuya Jazzy! Forever my baby boy, thank you for the laughter, the love, and the light you bring into our lives,” Jennylyn wrote in the caption.
She continued, saying, “We are so grateful for you, and we love you more than words can ever say. Always and always, you'll be my heart.”
In a separate Instagram post, Dennis also extended his greetings to his stepson Jazz, whom he considers his own son as well, by sharing a video reel showing everyone enjoying the delicious feast in celebration of Jazzy's birthday.
“Here at kuya Jazz's favorite. Happy 18th Birthday. We love you so much kuya Jazzy boy,” Dennis expressed.
Jennylyn Mercado married Dennis Trillo in 2021, and they have a child named Dylan.
Dennis has an eldest son, Calix, from a previous relationship with Carlene Aguilar. Also part of their family is Jazz, Jennylyn's son with Patrick Garcia.
Together, they are raising all three children as a well-adjusted blended family. At present, Jennylyn remains focused on guiding her children and being a supportive mother.
