Versatile actress Jennylyn Mercado shines in comedy just as much as she does in drama, and her performance in her current series 'Sanggang-Dikit FR' is proof.

Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado once again proves she's more than just a one-dimensional artist.

The versatile actress shines in comedy just as much as she does in drama, as seen in her performance in the current GMA Prime series Sanggang-Dikit FR, where she plays Bobby, a devoted policewoman.

Her character also showcases a lighter, funnier side of her--a testament to her acting prowess and her ability to effortlessly switch from intense, tear-jerking scenes to lighthearted comedic antics in the action-drama series.

In Sanggang-Dikit FR's episode aired on Wednesday, October 15, Bobby auditioned for Binibining Calabari as part of her investigation into a murder case tied to the pageant.

Not being an expert in beauty contests, Bobby hilariously stumbled over her words during the introduction and the Q&A portion--much to the amusement of viewers.

Online viewers on GMA Network's YouTube channel couldn't help but praise Jennylyn for being a natural at comedy.

Meanwhile, new characters were introduced in the same episode. Rayver Cruz joins the cast as Jared, CEO of Add2Cart and a major sponsor of the Binibining Calabari pageant, while Ashley Ortega portrays Teresa, Bobby's fellow beauty contest contender.

Sanggang-Dikit FR airs weeknights at 8:50 p.m. after Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre on GMA and Kapuso Stream. It also airs on GTV with a delayed telecast at 10:30 p.m.
