Jeonghan and Jun of the K-pop group SEVENTEEN will not be able to participate in the group's upcoming world tour amid military enlistment and acting pursuits, respectively.
PLEDIS Entertainment on Monday gave an update regarding Jeonghan and Jun's second half activities in a Weverse notice.
According to the record label, Jeonghan will be fulfilling his mandatory military services in the second half of the year and will not be able to take part in the promotion of their 12th mini-album and their upcoming “Right Here World Tour” slated for October.
Despite this, PLEDIS said Jeonghan has filmed content in advance and "will still be able to meet with CARATs through the previously announced fan signing event and Lollapalooza Berlin."
Details about his military enlistment, on the other hand, will be announced in another notice, as per the label.
Meanwhile, Jun will be pursuing acting opportunities in China in the second half of 2024.
PLEDIS said that "due to an overlap with the on-location filming schedule, Jun will not be able to participate in Lollapalooza Berlin, music show performances for the 12th mini album, and the SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR."
Despite not being able to take part in the world tour, the label said Jun "will participate as much as he can in schedules that engage with CARATs."
"We ask for your kind understanding and support for Jeonghan's healthy completion of his military service and Jun's upcoming projects," PLEDIS said.
SEVENTEEN is set to embark on a new world tour this October, which will have stops in Korea, the U.S., Japan, and other countries in Asia.
Last January, SEVENTEEN was in the Philippines for the "FOLLOW Tour" and played two shows at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
