Just like the show's contestants, the two young singers raced to the Centerstage before the world-acclaimed judges Pops Fernandez, Aicelle Santos and Mel Villena.

The Clash alumni sang Ben&Ben's hit song "Kathang Isip" and they wowed the judges of their duet.

“Magkaiba 'yung style, pero ang galing nila pareho,” said judge Mel.

Mel also said that during his younger days, he dreamed of having a voice that is the same with Nef, hoarse yet charismatic voice.

Pops then asked the two to serenade her.

“Ganito na lang, kapag nauso ulit ang harana, haranahin n'yo na lang ako. Gusto ko 'yung boses n'yo, grabe,” she related.

Aicelle, on the other hand, said, “Parehong magaling [pero] medyo bias ako du'n sa mga husky na boses. Pareho kayong gano'n kasi nag-a-add ng flavor at sarap ng pagkanta 'yon."

In the end, it was Nef who caught the hearts of judges.

Congratulations, Nef!
