Congratulations, Jeric Gonzales and Joaquin Domagoso!
Sparkle actors Jeric Gonzales and Joaquin Domagoso were among the awardees at the 2023 Ani ng Dangal.
Sparkle GMA Artist Center took to Instagram to proudly share snaps taken from the awarding ceremony which was held at the Malacañang Palace on Wednesday, February 22.
In the photos, Jeric and Joaquin can be seen beaming while holding their Ani ng Dangal trophies which were created by National Artist Abdulmari Asia Imao and made in the form of a stylized sarimanok of the Meranaw folklore.
The National Commission for Culture and the Arts recognized Jeric Gonzales for bagging the Best Actor at the Harlem International Film Festival in New York for the film Broken Blooms (produced by BenTria Productions) and Joaquin Domagoso for being the Best Actor at the 16th Toronto Film and Script Awards in Canada for his turn in the movie That Boy in the Dark.
Joaquin currently stars in the musical film Ako si Ninoy that chronicles the life and the tragic death of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.
Meanwhile, Jeric is part of the upcoming mythical primetime mega series Mga Lihim ni Urduja which premieres on Monday, February 27.
