Jericho Rosales sa tribute kay Pilita Corrales: "I'm here because I'm supporting an amazing family... If you want a definition of a family, this is the family."
Opisyal nang kinumpirma ni Jericho Rosales na "boyfriend" na siya ni Janine Gutierrez sa burol ng Asia's Queen of Songs na si Pilita Corrales.
Sa video na ibinahagi ni Ecy Rapadas sa Facebook noong Huwebes, April 17, nagbigay ng mensahe si Jericho sa burol ng yumaong music icon at actress sa Heritage Park sa Taguig.
"I'm here because I'm supporting an amazing family... If you want a definition of a family, this is the family. And, I've been so honored to just, you know, that I've been spending time with them, 'cause I'm Janine's boyfriend. Let's just put it out there," sabi ni Jericho.
Ikinuwento rin ni Jericho ang kanyang ina na may Alzheimer's na iniidolo si Pilita. Ibinahagi rin nito ang pagpunta ni Janine sa kanilang bahay at ang bonding ng aktres kasama ang kanyang ina.
"I think, I'm honored to be here because of my mother. My mother has Alzheimer's and she loves to sing a lot. And, the songs that she sings are songs of Ms. Pilita Corrales, so I always say that her songs just go beyond memory because it is embedded in her heart.
"Every time Janine goes to the house, nag-iiyakan sila ng 45 minutes because mama would sing Pilita Corrales songs to her and they'll just cry and so I let them cry," dagdag ng aktor.
Matapos na magbigay ng mensahe ay naghandog ng awitin si Jericho, ang "Paglisan."
Pumanaw si Pilita Corrales noong April 12 sa edad na 85.
