PBA player Jeron Teng gave an update on his condition via Twitter after he sustained multiple stab wounds during a brawl in Taguig City last Sunday, June 3.

On Friday, he posted a photo of himself being treated at St. Luke's Medical Center in Taguig City. In the same post, the former De La Salle University Green Archers basketball star thanked his family, friends, and supporters for the prayers.

"First of all, I would like to thank my family, friends, and supporters for all the prayers. Last June 3, I suffered from multiple stabs wounds and deep lacerations which could have been fatal," he said.

He tweeted that he is now recovering at home and being closely monitored by his family and doctors. He added that there's no certain timetable yet for his return to court to focus on his recovery.

"As of present I am now recovering at home and being closely monitored by my family and doctors. The time that I’m going to be back inside the court is still uncertain. For now, I am focusing on my recovery with the help of my family and friends. Thank you Lord."
