South Korean-American rapper Jessi took over the Manila stage once again at the “Head in the Clouds” festival last weekend.
In her Instagram post, Jessi thanked the record label 88rising, which organized the music and arts festival, and penned her love for her Filipino fans.
“Thank you for having me 88rising. LOVE YOU MANILA!!” she wrote.
The “ZOOM” hitmaker also has an amusing request for her Filipino Jebbies.
“[Y]a'll need to stop setting me up and teaching me bad words and telling me it means '[I] love you,'” she joked.
One of Jessi's videos from the music festival, where she cursed in Filipino, trended on social media platforms over the weekend.
She concluded her post with a, “[T]il we meet again.”
Jessi joined a spectacular line-up of artists for “Head in the Clouds” in Manila last December 9 and 10, which included performances from NIKI, Jackson Wang, and Joji, among others. Here is a gallery of the festival's highlights.
Prior to the festival, Jessi performed at the SM Mall of Asia Arena for her “Zoom in Manila” concert in September.
