In case you missed it, South Korean-American rapper Jessi closed the first-ever Waterbomb Manila last Sunday, February 23, with a spectacular performance.
In an interview with ATM (Adventure. Taste. Moments), Jessi said she was most excited about the good energy of the Filipino crowd.
“You guys have such a good energy [and] you guys like to have fun,” she said.
The “ZOOM” hitmaker recounted how her first concert in Manila years ago was filled with great energy and great singing.
Jessi also called the Philippines her “third home,” following the United States and South Korea.
When asked what song she was most excited to perform on stage, Jessi said she loved all of her songs.
“I feel like there is never a particular song that I love performing, I love all of them. I'm excited for today's energy because I had such a great experience in Manila with my concert,” she continued.
In 2022, Jessi had her first concert in the Philippines and participated in the "Head in the Clouds Manila" festival.
Jessi also gave a short but sweet message to her Filipino fans in the interview.
“Stay you, and mahal kita,” she mused.
