
Jessica Sanchez is back and ready to take over America's Got Talent once again!
After over a decade away from the competition, the Filipino-American singer is set to return to the international stage on America's Got Talent's upcoming 20th season.
Known for her powerhouse vocals, Jessica joined the first season of America's Got Talent in 2006. She was 10 years old then. She is 29 now.
In the teaser for the upcoming 20th season, Jessica told the judges, “I was actually on the very first season of America's Got Talent.”
Sofia Vergara responded, “After 20 years, this was a special moment.”
The Filipino-American singer also took to Instagram to express her dreams of joining the competition.
"Being 10 years old on AGT played such a massive role in me believing in something bigger for myself, for my voice," she expressed.
"What a huge blessing it is to be able to come back and chase after my dreams again after 20 years," she added. "Can't wait to see what God has in store for me."
The upcoming season of America's Got Talent is scheduled to premiere on May 27.
Jessica gained recognition as the runner-up on American Idol Season 11.
Her American Idol success opened the door to more opportunities, including appearances on Glee and performances at various concerts.
In 2023, she performed at the Miss Universe Philippines coronation night.
