Jessica Villarubin gave a sweet birthday message "to the best mom in the world."
All-Out Sundays mainstay Jessica Villarubin showed a more personal side of herself as she greeted her mother a happy birthday.
She wrote a short yet simple greeting for her mom in a social media post, saying, "Happy Birthday to the best mom in the world. I love you so much Mama forever and always."
In past GMA News interviews, Jessica revealed she grew up poor and was raised by her parents in Cebu along with her eight other siblings.
Jessica is the only one among them to finish her studies, thanks to her singing talent.
"Kailangan ko po kumanta nang kumanta, may misyon po ako na ibabayad ko sa school. Kailangan ko po mag-gig para makatapos ng pag-aaral, para matustusan ko 'yung pangangailangan ng pamilya ko," she said.
The Kapuso singer has also celebrated getting her first COVID-19 vaccine dose earlier this week.
