In Jewel Mische's last photo, many people were impressed by how she easily attained a flat tummy a month after giving birth to her second daughter, Emerald or Emrie.
In a new post, the StarStruck alumna described what she is doing to take care of her body after giving birth.
According to Jewel, she did not hold back when it comes to her food consumption but she said that she is doing some exercise routine.
“I'm not sure if you want to call it good genes or luck but I can tell you what I did. In both of my pregnancies, I did not obsess with watching the weighing scale and I ate everything I wanted to eat.. BUT, I exercised.”
Jewel said that in her first pregnancy, she can easily workout 4 to 5 times a week. Now that she just had her second baby, 20 minutes a day became her goal.
“When I was pregnant with Aislah, I worked out 4 to 5 times a week for 60 to 90 minutes... I had all the time in the world!! With Emrie?? I had a very realistic goal of 20 minutes of exercise a day, and that already included stretching!”
She added, “Both times I still had my “obliques” until the day I gave birth and had a flat stomach within 10 days after baby (the photos above were taken at 2 weeks postpartum).”
Jewel said that staying active is her secret.
“The not-so-secret secret is staying active during pregnancy. I specifically did a few mins of HIIT and standing ab workout which you can do also to the degree that is safe for you and your baby."
She also stated that breastfeeding is a factor in losing weight.
“Breastfeeding helps and being in shape before pregnancy makes a huge difference.”
Before wrapping up her post, Jewel said that women should not compare themselves to other women. For her, women have an incredible vessel that should be proud of.
"But hey, LISTEN, do not focus on the physical aspects. And do not fall into the trap of comparing pregnant and postpartum bodies. What we all have in common is that we have an incredible vessel we get to call home and get to nourish, to care for these sweet babies and our hubbies.️"
